This cartoon is about a RAF-gunner reading his "Daily Nightlight", in the light of the German search lights: " Thank you boys " ! (for the light).   Willem

It's about a (German) Flak-abteilung who is calling enthusiastically their "chief", because they were shooting down a "4-mot" (4-engined aircraft), of the RAF of course...... but this "chief" did not already know !!!  (the plane crashed on his own house... but his telephone is still working ! ).

Hermann! Oewaahhh.....we survived Spain, the bullring (arena).... ahh..... but Friesland....?

I believe..... it intense over here, at least!!

It's about two surviving crewmembers of the Luftwaffe in Friesland - their plane is crashing behind and the pilot in front of the cartoon is reminding his comrade of their first experiences in Spain

(the Germans were "training" in the Spanish civil war, before WW.II):   Willem

It's about damned good camouflage of the home base.

" No hangar, no planes.....nothing !    Good camouflage indeed...... very very good......but, we have to find our home base, NOW !!! "

It's saying: " I'm getting too old, I believe.....  Because, I don't understand today’s bird migrations anymore !! "

Cartoon about a US-airman stationed in England 1944:

Don't worry Hector. Let him be..... Maybe this guy will be laying in the grass again tomorrow but somewhere in Germany or Europe. And without the red nose then !!!

Cartoon about ' Comrade Hatsjoov Hiccup ' of the Red Army air force, during operation:

Comrade Hatsjoov Hiccup......... what's the matter with you, are you sneezing or are you doing hiccups again ???

It's about the (great) Polish support in the ' Battle of Britain ' , saying:

For God's sake man, stop your ' comrades-comrades ' and your ' Polska-Polska friend ' ! Otherwise we'll let you stay there till night-fall ..... Do you understand ? !
